The Faith Hope and Love group was created, in 2017, to give people a 5-star experience at 2-star pricing. We do this because we care about our customers, giving them both comfort, focused service and value for money.
In fact, because customers simply, love what we offer they keep coming back and each year we have grown in popularity and in our purpose of giving more people a great stay at great pricing.
We also generate work for people in our neighbourhood, which according to SA Crime Stats is the safest suburb in Port Elizabeth (as we are located next to the biggest army base in the Eastern Cape)

We are located close to all the activities you would love to take part in while you are on holiday in Port Elizabeth.
For the business traveller we are also situated close enough to the airport and the business districts of PE that your commute to where you need to be is very short.
Addo Elephant Park
Pack a picnic and head to Jacks Picnic spot or enjoy lunch at the main camp, All South African Citizens and Non-Citizens are required to sign in to the park with a valid ID/Passport. Visit their main web page for accurate pricing). The main gate is open from 7am-7pm daily and Matyholweni gate is open from 7am to 18:30.
Sundays River Adventures
For the adrenaline Junky! The website is a must visit! Sundaze.co.za, a short 20–30-minute drive to Colchester and you have reached the largest Dune Fields in the Southern Hemisphere! From River boat Cruises to Sandboarding, this site offers it all! They offer single activities or day adventure packages! A must for even the meekest and mildest adventure seeker!
Raggy Charters
Enjoy the beachfront from a different angle. Raggy charters offer boat cruises. Please contact them for pricing and times. These tours are weather dependent.
SANCOB Penguin Sanctuary
An experience you won’t forget. Entry fees are minimal and all proceeds used to help the endangered penguins. They have a gift and coffee shop on site. Get close and personal with African Jackass Penguins (please see website for visitng times, fees and more information – https://sanccob.co.za/). SANCOB is surrounded by beautiful secluded beaches and nature reserves. You can even adopt a penguin! Whilst you are there, you can visit the Cape Recife Light House.
South End Museum
The South End Museum is a colourful display of one neighbourhood’s history in South Africa’s Past. If you want to know more about South Africa’s History, then this is a must visit. Trading hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 4pm and 10am to 3pm on weekends.
Grass Roof
This is a beautiful farm style restaurant with open spaces for each person, young and old, to enjoy. They have a well-stocked farm stall with fresh goodies to taste – an ideal gift to take home, the restaurant has delectable food and the kids can play on the open lawn and well-equipped play area. Opposite the restaurant is a large bicycle riding arena, a first of it’s class in Gqeberha (https://grassroof.co.za/bike-park).
Kragga Kamma Game Park
Open from 08:00-17:00 daily except Christmas day. Self-Drive entrance fee is R120 per adult and R60 for kids aged 3-17yrs. Cheetah feeding from the deck at 12:30pm (Please call Kragga Kamma Game Park to Confirm this). South African Air Force Museum
Open Tuesday to Thursday 8am to 3pm. Close to the airport and Forest Hill! Enjoy seeing the history of our air force, miniature plane models and allow the kids to enjoy make believe play in the touch and feel crafts! They serve beverages on site.
Boardwalk Mall
Enjoy something closer, the Boardwalk Mall offers shopping, Nu-Metro cinemas, bars, restaurants, arcade play areas, and the well-known Boardwalk Casino. The mall offers indoor go-carting and fun escape rooms for the detective inside of you. They have a Paddle Ball court and have some great specials on, including racket and ball hire.
Baywest Mall
A quick 20-minute drive away, so if shopping and indoor activities are for you, this is where you want to be! Enjoy the food court whilst watching your favourite sports games and kids get to play in a safe kiddies play area too while you enjoy your shopping, teenagers can enjoy Gravity and endless fun at Ster-Kinekor, the indoor Arcade or Bowling!
Homeleigh Farm Yard
If you have younger children, this is a must! You will see a variety of farm animals. Kids get to touch and feel animals as well as feed them. Homeleigh farm has been in existence for decades!
